VE Raffle Draw Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions for the raffle draw conducted by Virology Education B.V (VE) are listed below.

1. The raffle draw is open to participants over 18 years of age.
2. Only one complimentary registration is available for each Winner.
3. The complimentary registration can be used for either:
   1. Attendance at one virtual meeting organized by VE or AME; or
   2. Virtual attendance at one hybrid meeting organized by VE or AME. It is not possible to use the complimentary registration for in-person attendance at a hybrid meeting.
4. The complimentary registration is only valid for virtual and hybrid meetings held in 2021. The complimentary registration will expire on 31 December 2021.
5. The complimentary registration is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash or monetary alternatives will be offered.
6. The drawing of the raffle is scheduled to occur on 25 January 2021. VE reserves the right to change the date of the raffle drawing as they see fit.
7. Winners will be drawn at random.
8. Winners will be contacted by email. VE will attempt to contact the Winners by email up to two times. If the Winner does not respond to the emails notifying them of their win within 14 days of the second email, they will lose their right to the complimentary registration, and VE reserves the right to choose and notify a new Winner.
9. VE will inform all Winners on the procedure to register for the virtual or hybrid meeting of their choice.
10. VE reserves the right to substitute the complimentary registration with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond their control make it necessary to do so.
11. Raffle participants consent to any personal information they provide in entering the raffle draw being used by VE for the purposes of administering the raffle draw, and for those purposes as defined within their privacy policy [link AME privacy policy here].
12. VE’s decision regarding any aspect of the raffle draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. VE does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any raffle participants as a result of either participating in the raffle raw or being selected as a Winner.
14. VE reserves the right to cancel the raffle draw or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
15. The raffle draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of the Netherlands and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
