Professor Wei Lyu is working in Department of Infectious Diseases, Peking Union Medical College Hospital in Beijing, China.
Professor Lyu obtained her PhD from Peking Union Medical College in 1998. In 2004–2006, she completed her two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Laboratory for Cellular Immunology of Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris, France. She worked in Royal Hospital of Macgill Universithy as a visiting professor for 4 months in 2014.
Professor Lyu is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of various infectious diseases, including, but not limited to, bacterial, viral and fungal infections, hepatitis, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, fever of unknown origin, as well as immunodeficiency disorders. Her research work is focus on the immune non-responders, gut dysbiosis management of PLWH , She is known for her friendliness and good work attitude, and she is dedicated to helping solve any problems faced by her patients during treatment.
