Dr. Yu-Hsuan Tseng received her dental degree at National Yang-Ming University and MA degree in Human Rights at Soochow University. Since 2017, Dr. Tseng has started to work at Taipei City Hospital Kunming Branch, the only HIV/AIDS specialized dental clinic in Taiwan, as a dental clinician. Dr. Tseng’s research focuses on the changes of Taiwanese dentists’ perspectives towards PLWHIV and the development of related policies. She hope that her experience and researches could help to develop suitable and localized training courses for Taiwanese dentists, which could eliminate the stigma and discrimination for HIV-related issues, in order to provide better dental healthcare settings for PLWHIV. Since 2018, Dr. Tseng has been collaborated with other HIV-friendly healthcare professionals, NGOs and associations such as Taiwan Dental Association, educational institutes, and hospitals and clinics, to provide lectures, speeches, and publications.
