Dr. Adeniyi Olagunju is a Tenure Track Fellow in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, University of Liverpool, UK. He studied pharmacy at the Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria, Master of Research in Biomedical Science & Translational Medicine and PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. He is a member of the Centre of Excellence for Long-acting Therapeutics (CELT) where cutting-edge cross-cutting innovative research is ongoing to transform the global landscape of drug administration. He leads a group within CELT that uses a three-pronged strategy to advance evidence-based recommendations for drug use in pregnancy and lactation: clinical research, human-relevant in vitro modelling and physiologically based pharmacokinetic modelling.
