Professor Adrian Streinu-Cercel, MD, PhD, senior physician in Infectious Diseases, is currently Professor at the Department of Infectious Diseases and President of the University Senate of the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest and General Manager of the National Institute for Infectious Diseases “Prof. Dr. Matei Balș”, Romania.
Principal investigator in multiple international randomized controlled trials and project director in numerous national and international grant-based research projects, his current fields of interest include interdisciplinary topics on infectious diseases, epidemiology, microbiology and virology.
