Angela (Jin-Hui) Chen

Biography

Angela (Jin-Hui) Chen, is currently a fifth-grade medical student from National Taiwan University. Striving to build up clinical ability to deliever the best patient care, she also participates in various student affairs. As a curious student who is eager to find out the answers, she won Undergraduate Research Scholarship from Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan.  With great interpersonal communication skills and leadership, she was elected as the president of National Taiwan University Medical Student Association 2022-2023. 

Dedicating to making the campus as well as the clinical environment a better place, Angela leads the student association to solve the existing problems and create new benefits for all medical students.  In addition to peers mutual learning system, discounts for nearby restaurants, student association held lots of activities regarding diverse issues.

Among all these activities, those against HIV stigma and discrimination including several workshops and the “HIV week” to advocate the correct mindset of AIDS have garnered most students’ recognition and positive feedback.  

Being in the position of the president and medical student at the same time is sometime exhausting, she hopes to bring out the best of her and the whole community.
