Dr Annelies Jorritsma is pharmacist at the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology at University Medical Center Groningen. She has expertise in the development and manufacturing of investigational medicinal products, especially in the field of biologicals, ATMP’s and molecular tracers (both fluorescent and radioactive).
She is involved in research on molecular imaging to support and optimize treatment of cancer patients with novel (targeted and immuno) therapies. Focusing on the translation of new tracers and their application in the clinical setting for drug development and treatment optimization (e.g. visualization of presence of drug target (patient selection), drug biodistribution and tumor status during treatment).
