Dr Christophe Martinaud is medical director at Cepheid for the Europe – Middle East and Africa region. He is a medical doctor, specialist in laboratory medicine and did a PhD in molecular and cell biology. He has worked in the French Military Medical Service for many years, heading laboratories, leading research teams and teaching as a Professor of laboratory medicine, in France and Africa. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, and his main research interests include infectious diseases and blood transfusion.
