Dr. Gary Toh is an ID specialist and an intensivist from Chi Mei Medical Center in Tainan City, Taiwan. He received his medical degree from National Defense Medical Center in 2005, and he completed the training of internal medicine and infectious diseases in Chi Mei Medical Center. He used to work as the director of the ICU and infection control department in Chiali Chi Mei Hospital from 2011 to 2013. Dr. Gary Toh earned his MSc of Tropical Medicine & International Health and Diploma of Tropical Medicine from London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine in 2016, and he is now a full-time intensivist working in the Department of Intensive Care Medicine of Chi Mei Medical Center. Additionally, he has been involved in HIV patient care, and he is the co-director for the HIV case management program and the director for the PrEP program of the hospital. Besides, he is also an assistant professor of Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science. His research interests include HIV infection & prevention, HIV stigma, opportunistic infections, cardiovascular disease and neurocritical care.
