Jennifer Ho, MEd

Jennifer Ho is a global health advocate and consultant based in Bangkok, Thailand, with over 20 years of experience advocating for the rights, health, and well-being of marginalized communities across Asia and the Pacific. She has worked extensively with key population-led organizations and networks, including people living with HIV, people who use drugs, sex workers, men who have sex with men, transgender people, migrant populations, women, and young people, ensuring their voices are at the center of HIV prevention, treatment, and policy discussions.

She currently also serves as the Regional Coordinator for the Asia Pacific Chemsex Symposium (2024 and 2025), supporting efforts to strengthen community-led harm reduction, health interventions, and policy responses related to chemsex and sexual health. She has been a strong advocate for community-driven, gender-transformative, and human rights-based approaches to HIV and broader health responses, with a focus on expanding access to biomedical prevention tools such as pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and long-acting injectables.

As a dedicated champion for equitable health access, Jennifer brings invaluable insight into the realities of HIV prevention in the region, particularly from a community perspective. Her participation in the Asia Pacific AIDS and Coinfection Conference debate will highlight the lived experiences, preferences, and challenges faced by affected populations, ensuring that the future of HIV prevention is shaped by those it impacts most.
