Jennifer Kiser, PharmD, PhD

Biography

Dr. Jennifer Kiser, PharmD, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Dr. Kiser received her PharmD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completed a pharmacy practice residency at the University of California San Diego Medical Center, completed an antiretroviral clinical pharmacology fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Courtney Fletcher at the University of Colorado, and earned her PhD from the University of Colorado.

Dr. Kiser’s research interests are in determining pharmacokinetic-genetic-dynamic relationships and investigating drug-drug interactions for antiviral agents used in the treatment of viral hepatitis and HIV.


Dr. Kiser’s laboratory is a leader in the development of state of the art analytical methods to quantitate antiviral drug concentrations in various biologic matrices.
Dr. Kiser is involved in several local, national, and international antiviral clinical pharmacology studies in persons with HIV and viral hepatitis
