Linda Panton is a clinical nurse specialist and HIV nurse lead in the Infectious Diseases Unit, Edinburgh. She has worked in HIV nursing for 30 years and is passionate about delivering nurse-led holistic care for people living with HIV. She was awarded HIV Nurse of the Year in 2022.
Linda has served on the National HIV Nurses Association (NHIVNA) Executive since 2013 and is the current Chair.
She sits on the National HIV Clinical Leads group and has spoken locally and nationally at various conferences. She sat on the expert writing group to develop the NHIVNA Practice guide for annual health reviews for people living with HIV, and is one of the authors for the NHIVNA HIV Nursing Model of Care document.
