Lorenz Van der Linden is a hospital pharmacist at the University Hospitals Leuven (UZ Leuven) in Leuven, Belgium. He graduated in 2007 as a pharmacist and in 2008 as a hospital pharmacist. Afterwards, he finished a post-graduate course in clinical pharmacy (2010). In 2018, he obtained his PhD from KU Leuven, focusing on medication management for older inpatients. Currently, he works as a clinical pharmacist at UZ Leuven and also serves as an assistant professor at KU Leuven.
Lorenz is dedicated to improving medication use and clinical outcomes for older patients dealing with multiple health issues and medications. He has a particular interest in cardiovascular pharmacotherapy and is actively involved in research in this area. His practical experience in the hospital setting informs his teaching and research, contributing to advancements in clinical pharmacy practice.
