Dr. Nida Ali is a physician and a public health professional. She is working at Coalition for Global Hepatitis Elimination as a fellow where she is supporting the secretariat functions for the UN Group of Friends to Eliminate Hepatitis.
Previously, she worked for 5 years at World Health Organization Pakistan’s Polio Eradication program and has led investigations and responses for several outbreaks. She also worked for Ministry of Population Welfare in Pakistan and led the Reproductive Health Unit at Holy Family Hospital.
Dr. Ali received her degree in Medicine & Surgery from Pakistan. She is also the recipient of US Department of State’s Hubert H. Humphrey Award and completed her fellowship in Global Health from Emory University USA, specializing in Global Public Health Policy and Management.
