Reshmie Ramautarsing, MD, PhD

Biography
Reshmie Ramautarsing graduated with honors from Erasmus Medical School in The Netherlands in 2009, and was awarded a PhD in HIV clinical science from the University of Amsterdam in 2013. She has been involved in HIV clinical trials, HIV prevention research and implementation science for over 10 years. She currently works at the Institute of HIV Research and Innovation (IHRI) in Bangkok, Thailand, with a focus on the implementation and evaluation of HIV treatment and prevention programs. In her current role as Implementation Science Director, she oversees and manages the implementation of the Key Population Led Health Services model, which provides differentiated HIV services along the cascade to key populations at the community level in Thailand. Her research interests include HIV treatment and prevention, health of transgender women and other key populations, HPV and other STIs, and differentiated ART initiation and maintenance services.
