Susan is an award-winning HIV activist, public speaker, writer, broadcaster, and health equity change-maker. She has over two decades of leadership in the HIV sector, spearheading innovative initiatives with national and global impact, particularly for women and people from racially minoritized communities.
She is a Board Member of the Global Network of People Living with HIV, a member of the 4M Network of Mentor Mothers, and co-founder & Executive Director of Phoenix Health Movement, the new health equity non-profit organization. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, invited for her work in tackling health inequalities in HIV.
