Suvaporn Anugulruengkitt, MD, PhD

Biography

Assistant Professor Suvaporn Anugulruengkitt is an instructor and faculty member at Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, a tertiary-care medical school in Bangkok, Thailand. She has a broad background in pediatrics, with specific training and expertise in infectious diseases. In early-career path, as PI or co-investigator, she worked on the research of HIV mother-to-child transmission and HIV in children. In 2015, she received a CIPHER Grant from the International AIDS Society to conduct a study to address adverse events of 6-week triple-drug neonatal prophylaxis regimen among HIV-exposed neonates.

She has served on the writing committee for the Thai National pediatric HIV treatment guideline. Her research interest focus on pediatric and adolescent HIV, particularly in the areas of the prevention of perinatal HIV transmission and antiretroviral therapy. She is also a site principle investigator for investigational drug; bictegravir and elvitegravir in pediatric populations, and lenacapavir for HIV prevention.
