Vanessa Monley is the Programme Officer at Youth LEAD, Asia Pacific’s largest network of young key populations (YKPs). She currently manages the United Nations partnerships for the organisation and international funding to sustain YKP networks in the region during and after COVID-19. She has also been involved in several publications and research on mental health and organisational strengthening for young people and young key populations. Vanessa is passionate about gender equality and currently doing a Masters in participatory development with a focus on gendered approaches in programmes and policies at the Australian National University. For the past three years, she has been developing and piloting the Regional Healthcare Worker Sensitisation on YKPs programme in Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, the Philippines and Cambodia in collaboration with The Global Fund Multi Country Grant, UNAIDS Regional Support Team and the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
