Ye Zhang is a postdoctoral fellow at the Kirby Institute, University of New South Wales. She specializes in the evaluation of public health interventions related to sexually transmissible infections. Her research focuses on reducing the impact of sexually transmissible infections and HIV in vulnerable populations, with a particular emphasis on implementing and evaluating point-of-care testing across various healthcare settings and communities. She has a special interest in infectious disease prevention, point-of-care testing for infectious diseases, sexual health, and primary healthcare systems. Her research findings were published in Nature Medicine, The Lancet Regional Health-Western Pacific, Eurosurveillance, and BMJ Global Health. She received her MSc from Lund University and PhD from the University of New South Wales (Scientia Scholarship).
