Welcome

The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically changed our way of running the clinic and providing care to our patients. The International Workshop on Innovations in Delivery of HIV Care aims to provide an opportunity for presenting changing strategies in the delivery of HIV care.

This program will be primarily experienced-based, supported by state-of-the-art lectures, plenary discussions, and abstract presentations. The workshop will focus on the needs of the patient and how these can be delivered effectively under the increasing constraints and opportunities available within HIV care.

The workshop will enable the sharing of successful strategies to improve patient care, both by discussing methods of care and new treatments available for the prevention and treatment of HIV, and how these can best be implemented. The workshop targets those giving and receiving HIV care. Amongst those are care providers, physicians both in secondary and primary care, nurses and other care delivers.

The program will be developed by an international organizing committee from all areas of HIV care, both in the hospital and in a primary care setting, and will focus on patient participation.
