What's New

  • The program for the 2nd edition of the Leveraging mRNA Technology Workshop is currently under development and will be announced in due time.

About this Program

The breakthrough of the mRNA platform enabled the development of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines at an unprecedented pace, heralding a new era for the prevention of other infectious diseases. It opened new avenues to rethink long-standing scientific questions, such as vaccines for hepatitis C and HIV, or neglected tropical diseases, in a scalable and affordable manner.

Beyond prophylaxis, mRNA technology holds promise for treating many rare and common clinical indications. One size does not fit all, and several challenges remain towards achieving broad clinical relevance, including effective targeted delivery, optimal expression, and immunological properties.

Leveraging mRNA technology beyond its current clinical applications relies on fostering scientific discussion to catalyze new concepts and cross-disciplinary innovative solutions. To this end, we propose a forum gathering leading experts from academic and industry settings to facilitate focused scientific interchange on niche topics that are the subject of intensive research yet underrepresented at major international meetings.

Starting from this edition, Quarterly Online Editions Include
  • mRNA Cancer Vaccines
  • Delivery of Antibodies and Other Biologics by mRNA
  • mRNA Delivery Systems
  • mRNA Vaccines for Respiratory Diseases
  • Mechanism of Action of mRNA Vaccines
  • mRNA for Gene Editing and Cell-Based Therapy
