Vikram Mukherjee is the director of the Medical ICU at NYCH+H/Bellevue hospital, the oldest public hospital in the United States, and the tertiary referral center for New York City’s public health system. He graduated from the Armed Forces Medical College, India following which he completed his training and sub-specialty fellowship in the United States. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh). He also serves as the medical director for Bellevue’s Special Pathogen Program, and his research interests lie in emerging diseases and mass critical care.
