The Online Russian Series featured lectures on novel treatment strategies. The program was designed to close the most important knowledge gaps in HIV clinical care in Russia and other globally comparable areas. New findings were presented and discussed within the context of Russia, reflecting on the regional and local aspects of the epidemic, national policies, guidelines, and societal context. In addition, clinical cases relevant to Russian healthcare providers were discussed to allow the participants to apply the acquired knowledge to clinical practice.
This Educational Series included 3 individual 90-minute educational activities focused on the most pressing knowledge gaps in Russian HIV healthcare, such as the implementation of novel treatment strategies in the context of viral hepatitis co-infection, drug resistance, plausible metabolic complications, compromised adherence, or aging and onset of comorbidities.
Each activity was delivered as a livestreamed webinar. The meeting language was in Russian. Simultaneous translation was provided during the meeting.
